Description
We are looking for an Accounting Specialist for an international Fintech startup with great growth in Mexico and Latin America.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist that will be in charge of preparing and generating the accounting on a daily basis: accounting records and tax calculations (only for Mexico) in Mexico and other countries in Latam.
Activities:
- Receive, process, and reconcile statements.
- Prepare monthly financial statements.
- Generate and review monthly reports.
- Analyze information, maintain complete and accurate records, assist with routine accounting duties.
- Tax calculations.
Requirements:
– 5 years of proven experience in accounting and taxes.
– Compliance with tax obligations of the company.
– Detailed follow-up on tax matters for different entities of the company.
– Proven experience in FinTech, banks, or financial services.
– Tech Skills or Tech Software: Aspel, Contpaq, ERP´s, Microsoft
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting with certificate
– Intermediate English needed.

- Previous experience being in charge of multiple companies at the same time: holdings, international companies.

- Strong computer skills including accounting databases, Excel, and other software
